I'm not seeing that is possible so I have to ask. We have GS 1.7.6 in production and need to update several layers with new shapefile data. We also have the layers cached in tiles via the built in GWC. Is there a remote chance I can build the new layer and pre-generate the tiles and then quickly rename the layers?
