Hi all, I have been working with the pyramid plugin, and I couldn't build a
pyramid. Well, the problem never was my Image or my GDAL plugin. Indeed, the
problem was the GeoServer instance itself!

When I create a image with GDAL and attemp to load It into GeoServer, the
following error appears:

*"Could not list layers for this store, an error occurred retrieving them:
> This plugin accepts only File, URL and String pointing to a file"*
>

Reading a bit I discovered that, when a pyramid is load into GeoServer, the
instance reorder the loose tiles and move them to the "0" folder. Then,
It creates a .shp for each level (for indexes I guess...), but in my
GeoServer instance those .shp files weren't created. So, I've to move to
another computer to do it, then I'd load it succefully.
I guess, It's a Ubuntu's permission problem or a GeoServer's bug.

Here are my specs:

- Ubuntu 10.4
- GeoServer 2.0.2
- Apache 6.0.29 / GlassFish 3 Comunity
- GDAL.

I hope this mail will be useful to someone with the same problem that I had.

Regards,
