Please keep all geoserver questions on the public list so that you may 
benefit from the experience of others.

The BBOX in a WFS request uses the SRS specified in the SRSNAME 
parameter, or the default for the layer if SRSNAME is not specified. 
Note that this determines the axis order (lon/lat vs lat/lon) as well as 
the values.
