Quite odd. In 2.1 beta there is indeed a new fast clipper that helps
java2d in rendering faster, however I tried it a bit with some data
I have handy in shapefiles format and I can't seem to replicate the
issue you're reporting.
So maybe it is Oracle specific, or maybe it's specific to your data
in particular.

Can you open a report on jira.codehaus.org and attach there a dump
of your data along with the styling you're using?
It does not have to be exactly that data, a minimal set of data
+ style that allows to reproduce the issue would be enough
