Thank you for helping me out last time. I finally managed to build this easy
wms.
I would like to build a more complex wms . I managed to style and store my
shape data on my local geoserver2.0.2 on windows xp. Now I would like to
build the webpage.
I would like to display some shapefiles with a google background. I would
also like to add a getfeatureinfo, calculate length and surface
functionalities.
I am a newbie and I only have very basic knowledge of html, javascript and
openlayers.
I already downloaded the openlayer workshop of 2009, i inspired myself on
the openlayerexamples website.but it seems to difficult to understand.
I am looking for a good practical manual for newbies like me that makes it
easy to understand step by step.
