Hi Martin,
Unfortunately the python extension has not been shipped with a release of
GEoServer yet. So if you want to try it out you will have to build geoserver
from sources. Which you can do with:
mvn -P python clean install
from the root of the source tree.
I can also add the python extension to the nightly builds for trunk so you
can download the extension there. If there are no objections from the other
devs. I also need to verify that it won't break the build :) I will keep you
posted.
