Hey Everyone,
I have a question about using WFS-T with postgres and geoserver.
_
Here's the scenario:_
We have a complex view in postgres with several joins to other tables
including some with one-to-many relationships (we'll flatten out the
data in the view).
What we'd like to do is use a WFS-T that hits the view.
We'll use postgres rules on the view to allow inserting and updating
back to base tables that make up the view.
_My question is this:_
Has anyone done something like this before, and if so, did it work? Any
suggestions or pitfalls?
This seems like it should work, but am I missing something?
Is there an alternate way of accomplishing what we want to do?
I'm basically trying to tap into the collective knowledge around this
pattern and any insight would be appreciated.
Cheers,
Alexei
