Just wanted to tell, that AtlasStyler 1.6 has been released[1]. It is an SLD editor based on Geotools (just like Geoserver is based on Geotools). In version 1.6 you can connect it to a Geoserver WFS directly, which works quite well (unless you have mixed geometries[2]). Also does the new AtlasStyler validate all styles now - just like the Geoserver configuration GUI does - so any style created with AtlasStyler should now work flawless with Geoserver.
