Hi Esben,

It will be present in some shape or form for geoserver 2.1. There has been
some recent work to bring the work into a community module called
"dbconfig". My hope is to get enough time to work on it to make it stable
enough to include as a proper extension for 2.1. But that really depends on
when 2.1 will be released. But in the least it will still be available as a
community module.
