When you make a getMap request, add the SRS=EPSG:2177 parameter. This will 
automatically display the resulting map in that projection, along with your 
layer.

I think the simple answer is no, and struggle to think how the same data in two 
different projections on the same map could be in any way useful. I think 
there's just no way of knowing where to place the data on the map and how it 
should be represented without reprojecting to the same projection.

The Geoserver-devel list is for the development of Geoserver, not products that
