OpenLayers is commonly used for this sort of thing.  Here's their
documentation on making google maps and other tilesets like it in OpenLayers
with WMS services:

They also have an example of exactly what you want to do, but the WMS
service that it uses appears to be down currently.  The code is more
interesting than the map anyway :)
