Hi,

It is normal. To make Geoserver to stay running after hang up start it with the
"nohup" command.

Aihe: [Geoserver-users] Is it normal for your PuTTy Session to time out and
then you loose your GeoServer?

Hi,

I have gotten my Linux system working, to a point.

I have GeoServer 2.0.2 installed on my VPS

   /usr/share/GeoServer-2.0.2/

I reach it and start it up with PuTTy.

Once I do this everything works nicely, but it seems that I have to have PuTTy
running on my home p/c for my VPS to work.

Is this normal?

Should I reconfigure?

Andy Davis...
