Hi All.... I'm a new user of this mail list and I'm sorry if the topic is just discussed.
I developed a SDI where SOS services and other geo services play together in order to export geo information.... In order to manage SOS and Sensor data I use 52north platform, a good implementation of the SOS OGC standard. For other type of data (WMS, WFS...) Geoserver is used. May be a good idea to get a single map server for WMS, WFS and Sensor data (SOS)....... What about a SOS implementation of SWE standard in Geoserver????
