Hello List,

I got the Selection control geometry which I can use to select the
corresponding records from my oracle table.
Now I have two more issues:
1. When I use point handler, get the error WARN [geotools.filter] -
unknown filter [ogc:DWithin: null] - My analysis is it is not able to get
the distance unit properly. My layer is a Oracle Spatial Table in WGS 84 (
EPSG:4326)
2. Also I am using Google Map as baselayer, which is in EPSG:900913, in
Spherical Mercator. The control drawn is in this projected coordinate
system and the layer (in database) is in EPSG:4326 (in degrees).

Can anybody please help me in:
1. Fixing the selection by point and
2. How to reproject the drawn control into WGS84 so that the SLDSelection
works well

Regards,
Dharmendra

Subject:
how to select corresponding records to SLDSelect Control

Hello List,

I am able to highlight the selected features from my own WMS layers using
the example 'http://openlayers.org/dev/examples/SLDSelect.html'. But my
requirement is also to select the corresponding records from the
respective oracle spatial table.

I am trying to get handle on the SLDSelect geometry (box, circle, point,
etc), so that I can execute a select query in Oracle and get the
corresponding records. Other option is to get those features (or at least
the primary keys) from the WFS call (which is used by SLDSelect control).

Any hint towards this would be highly appreciated.

Thanks in advanced and regards,
Dharmendra
