Dear listers, I want to use mySQL as datastore for geoserver but have trouble with polygons: they are only displayed as points although the geometry type in mysql is polygon or multipolygon. I use: - windows vista home premium - xampp-win32-1.7.3 - geoserver 2.0.2 and corresponding mysql plugin - FWTools 2.4.7 for importing shapefiles into my mysql database
If I use a shapefile datastore with the same data it is displayed fine, so I guess something between mysql and geoserver goes wrong. Anybody experience with this problem or any ideas?
