Dear listers, I have a question concering SLD in Geoserver: although I am a big fan of SLD (well I should, I am the editor of its 1.1 version... ;-) ) but the manual definion of complex SLDs is very time-consuming and prone to errors. Are there any plans for a graphical SLD-editor for Geoserver or to include some import facilities for common formats (like AVL)? What I am aware of is that Albrecht Weiser develops (in his spare time) a software to convert ArcMap-styles to SLD, there is a AVL2SLD converter in the deegree project and I found this (http://geoserver.org/display/GEOS/SLD+Editor) about geoext.
Can anyone give me an update or perspective what (and if) geoserver plans to do about this subject in the future?
