Hi, I am using Ubuntu 10.04 to deploy geoserver. At the moment I have tomcat6 running an instance of geoserver-2.0.2 and another standalone version of geoserver-2.0.2 using jetty. They do not run simulaneously. The standalone version is for testing. I would like to install php5 but do not have apache installed.
Are there any problems to consider if I try to install php5 without having an apache webserver running? Can php work with jetty? Does PHP know which webserver components are installed or are my this all irrelevant? yours and thanks for any help, Robert
