Hi,

Just to be sure, your features are A-B-A lines, not polygons? I ask it because
I have had troubles with OpenStreetMap data which tends always to contain A-B-A
polygons. Most applications I use do not like such polygons but OSM folks are
using Mapnik which does not care.

I am not sure if A-B-A lines are topologically valid or not. The topology check
of OpenJUMP accepts them if the special test for self-intersection is not
selected.
