Hi,
I've tried to reproduce the issue in many ways, but it seems that on my
system it just works fine no matter what I try.
I've tried changing the java version (1.6.0_24 and 1.5.0_22), format, tiled
vs untiled, no luck, the map always looks good.
I've attached one of the results I got, which seems to look good to me (the
above wms request unfortunately does not work
anymore so I cannot compare). At the very least I've compared the result
with a simple line map drawn by QGis and the
geometries there are exactly the same (the cased line generated by your
style appear to be properly formed as well, see the attached map)

In any case, I've tried a single modification in the renderer that _might_
change the results on your platform.
Can you try the 2.1.x nightly build and tell me if that changed anything?
Grab the "latest" build here:
http://gridlock.opengeo.org/geoserver/2.1.x/

Also, can you share some more information about your operation enviroment?
Operating system, java vendor and version?
If the bug is still reproducible it may help to get a larger sample, one
that has more than 1000 lines in it.

Cheers
Andrea
