Hi all,
I have a mosaic of mrsid files that I have seeded a cache for using
geowebcache. I would like to then move the cache onto another computer to
use as a server, is it possible for geoserver/geowebcache to serve a fully
seeded cache without the original map files? I am having some trouble
getting this to work, any hints?
Or is there a better way of doing this all together? The idea here is that
a lightweight server (think laptop) could become the mapserver is a
disadvantaged situation (i.e. no internet or big computers). So I need to
serve up just a few specific zoom levels with the greatest speed possible,
geowebcache seems like my best bet (I am not sure if it is possible to build
an image pyramid of the exact zoom levels I want).
Any help is appreciated.
