Hi,

I am on the lookout for a mapping framework based on geoserver.

CartoWeb
A comprehensive framework for building MapServer-based Web mapping applications
using SOAP Web services.
Chameleon
A highly customizable and adaptable environment for deploying and managing Web
mapping applications.
Dracones
A higher-level component framework for MapServer, to help in building rich
Python and JavaScript-based mapping applications.
Fusion
An application development framework for both MapServer and MapGuide Open
Source
built primarily in JavaScript.
GeoMOOSE
A JavaScript Web client application built on OpenLayers and MapServer, with
customizable tools and services.
ka-Map
An Open Source package that provides a javascript API for developing highly
interactive web-mapping interfaces. It has been developed to work with

Mapbender
A client suite for managing spatial data services. It provides interfaces for
displaying, navigating and querying OWS services (e.g. OGC WMS, WFS).
MapFish
An easy-to-use and extensible web 2.0 mapping application framework based on
OpenLayers.

Most of these are only used with mapserver.

Mapbender, and MapFish can (afaik) be used with geoserver, but involve rather a
large amount of time to get into.

Are there any lightweight frameworks which I can use to build mapping webapps
without having to be a code guru?

yours,

Robert
