Hello; i want to work with postgis, geoserver, appach tomcat 7 and openlayers. I read about connection pooling and JNDI but i didn't understand if also for postgis i have to do the same configuration in the tutorials with Oracle ?
should i install JDBC to connect with my database in postgis to do requests like: select * from my_table with column_1= '50' ? is the version 2.1 and 2.2 of geoserver stables now ? Because in the site the stable version for download is 2.0.3. Thank you very much.
