Hi Andrea, I've been struggling for a while - but I've configured it - (...and now my install doc shows the how to on over 70 pages)!! I must use a Windows 2008 R2 server => 64-Bit - and that's it: the main goal is, to configure ALL in 32-bit (JAVA - JAVA-IO - Tomcat 6 - FWTools)!! Then using the 2.1-RC4 - the WMS capabilities are working in uDig and Qgis - SOLVED.
