Great, then i'll wait 'till it's released, i don't doubt that 2.10 is 
stable enough, but then agian: i'd rather wait for the stable version.

Another question, based on the example in your presentation:


I see that you have made countour lines have their height on them as a 
label, I'm trying to do soemthing like that, only with a text instead of 
a number. The SLD-rule i use for this is at the bottom here.

However, i get "bits" of the line interfering with the label , as seen 
in the attachment (the label is "CD", and you can see that the "C" has a 
line in it). Your example doesn't seem to have this artifact. Could you 
please share your SLD for this, or is it a 2.10 improvement?
