I know about GDAL and it's capabilities.
The reason I'm asking this on geoserver-user list, is that I need a user of
the web app to define the desired region.
So this should be done thru a ows service request.
If I preliminary clip my global rasters with county polygons, I'll get
thousands of rasters and a headache:)
