Hi!

I'm displaying lots of WFS layers provided by GeoServer in a GeoExt web
application. I've just understood that WFS layers cannot be styled
beforehand by GeoServer, and then served with this predefined style (like
for WMS for example).

So I'm looking for the better way to apply different styles to my WFS
layers in my web application. But the point is, that I will not know in
advance which layers will be present in the web application. So I must
find the easiest way to link a WFS layer to his personal style.

After some search, I find this page:
http://gis.stackexchange.com/questions/4257/openlayers-how-to-style-wfs-layer-with-sld-file

So, at this moment, the best way would be to style WFS layers in
OpenLayers. What I think to do is to store my SLD files in a specific
folder in my application, and then to link them to their corresponding WFS
layer by keeping the same name. But I still think, there are maybe others
possibilities with GeoServer. What do you think about?

Best regards,

Geoffrey
