Two approaches come to mind:
1. Turn your bridge symbol into a typeface and use the font to "label" the
lines that are marked as bridge.
2. Remove some graphic detail from the bridge symbol so a bridge is made up of
only two black perpendicular lines. Then create a new FeatureTypeStyle for
lines marked as bridge that has a line-width wider than the road lines and have
the bridge render before you render the actual road. In case you want the
bridge lines to stand out a bit further from the roads, add a FeatureTypeStyle
for lines that has a line width slightly wider than the road, but thinner than
the bridge. Please refer to a posting from a few weeks ago
