You mean, because you set the attributes values by hand? Yeah, that
would seem painful.
It would be possible to write a program to automate that task in
geotools, or maybe
using geoscript.
Hum... well, not sure, but it might be possible to do that by SQL once
the two data layers
have been loaded into postgis, see also this post:
