I have discovered that the problem doesn't occur when we use Geoserver 2.1.1.

I'm trying to accomplish this by creating a Server Farm and create a Url rewrite to forward the requests to the farm. My webfarm is configured this way: Name: Tomcat Location: localhost Port: 8880 The rule is configured like this: Using: wildcards Pattern: * Ignore case: true The condition I added: Input: {URL} Type: Matches the pattern Pattern: */geoserver* Action: Type: Route to Server Farm Scheme: http Server Farm: Tomcat Path: /{R:0} Stop processing of subsequent rules. It worked with Geoserver 1.7.7, does anyone have an idea?
