Hi, Do not use layer group then. Group is there for letting user to select a group instead of all the members of a group. In your use case you probably do not want group at all, just the individual layers. However, even if you use grouping the layers belonging to the group can be controlled individually.
What WMS client are use using? They may show the group layers in a bit different way but for example OpenJUMP should show the layer tree fine. -Jukka Rahkonen- steff wrote: > Hi > I Set up GeoServer and Have created a LayerGroup where I have 11 layers. > The problem is that when a User want to see this layergroup all the layers shows at once. > This is a historic map and I want the users to be able to click the layers on and off. Think about ArcMap or MapInfo, there you can turn a layer on and of. /Steff -- View this message in context: http://osgeo-org.1803224.n2.nabble.com/Letting-users-Turn-layer-on-off-tp6990156p6990156.html Sent from the GeoServer - User mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ RSA(R) Conference 2012 Save $700 by Nov 18 Register now http://p.sf.net/sfu/rsa-sfdev2dev1 _______________________________________________ Geoserver-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/geoserver-users ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ RSA(R) Conference 2012 Save $700 by Nov 18 Register now http://p.sf.net/sfu/rsa-sfdev2dev1 _______________________________________________ Geoserver-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/geoserver-users
