We are using GeoServer 2.1.2. The Application Server is Apache Tomcat
Web Application Manager 6.0.18.
The Java is "jdk1.6.0_12". It is installed on a Windows XP - Service
Pack 3 machine.
I have used a Tif file to create a new Store. But I am unable to Publish
a new Layer using this store.
I get a "coveragestore.xml" but do not get a "coverage.xml" or a
"layer.xml".
The error log includes the following at the time when I created the
store.
INFO [store.panel] - Could not convert file:data\TIF\filename.tif into
canonical form
java.io.IOEXCEPTION : The filename, directory name, or volume label
syntax is incorrect
Is the above error the cause of my problems when it comes to trying to
create a layer ?
If it is, does anybody know what's going wrong ?
Thanks
Peter
