Hi,

I am trying to set up a wfs service with data residing in SQL Azure, and i
have a request-response pattern where first request returns error page:

<ServiceExceptionReport version="1.2.0" xsi:schemaLocation="
http://www.opengis.net/ogc
http://schemas.opengis.net/wfs/1.0.0/OGC-exception.xsd";><ServiceException>
      Error occurred getting features
Error occurred getting table name list.
The connection is closed.
</ServiceException></ServiceExceptionReport>

A request a few seconds later returns correct result.

I am running geoserver 2.1.2 on top of Jetty. For implementation on Azure i
use AzureRunMe. I have the following settings in status page.

Data directory C:\Applications\data
Locks 0
Free locks
Connections 2
Memory Usage 47 MB
Free memory
JVM Version Sun Microsystems Inc.: 1.6.0_18 (Java HotSpot(TM) Client
VM)
Available Fonts GeoServer can access 286 different fonts. Full list of
available fonts
Native JAI false
Native JAI ImageIO false
JAI Maximum Memory 123 MB
JAI Memory Usage 0 KB
Free memory
JAI Memory Threshold 75.0
Number of JAI Tile Threads 7
JAI Tile Thread Priority 5
ThreadPoolExecutor Core Pool Size 5
ThreadPoolExecutor Max Pool Size 5
ThreadPoolExecutor Keep Alive Time (ms) 30000
Update Sequence 27
Resource Cache
Clear
Configuration and catalog
Reload

I have the same pattern of first response with a serviceexception when
running locally.Following succesful responses. When idle for some time the
pattern returns.

I have tried to change min and max connections, fetch size and connection
timeout on my sql server Store settings. But no change in pattern.

Does anyone knows the problem or better - has any ideas for a solution?

Regards

All the data continuously generated in your IT infrastructure
contains a definitive record of customers, application performance,
security threats, fraudulent activity, and more. Splunk takes this
data and makes sense of it. IT sense. And common sense.
