Dear Kamardine,
Check out the SLD snippet below. Here, the rotation is derived from a database
column 'angle'.
<LabelPlacement>
<PointPlacement>
<AnchorPoint>
<AnchorPointX>0.5</AnchorPointX>
<AnchorPointY>0.5</AnchorPointY>
</AnchorPoint>
<Rotation>
<ogc:PropertyName>angle</ogc:PropertyName>
</Rotation>
</PointPlacement>
</LabelPlacement>
HTH.

Edward

Subject: [Geoserver-users] GeoServer support of Oracle oriented point in SLD
Hello,
I use GeoServer 2.1.1 in Windows
2008 x 32 server with JRE 1.6.0_26, Oracle 11g datastore
I want to define a SLD for a point symbol
based on Oracle layer.
I 'd know if exist a SLD method to rotate
my point symbols by using the information contained in Oracle oriented
point.
Best regards.
