My problem start during creating database. I'm using pgAdmin and graphical interface for transforming shp to postgis but I can't create geometry column, so I have to use geography column. If I publish table in GeoServer, everything is ok, but after I create view, geography column disapear. As Andrea wrote, it is normal, so now I have to figure out, how to create postgis database with geometry column. Because the same mistake I see in other program for transforming data (FME), so problem could be somewhere in instalation on postgresql/postgis.
Next problem is, that I'm not good in sql, so I'm trying to work with postgis through graphic interface, not through sql commands :( Dan -- View this message in context: http://osgeo-org.1560.n6.nabble.com/missing-geometry-after-create-sql-view-tp4660559p4663249.html Sent from the GeoServer - User mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This SF email is sponsosred by: Try Windows Azure free for 90 days Click Here http://p.sf.net/sfu/sfd2d-msazure _______________________________________________ Geoserver-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/geoserver-users
