Was just publishing a layer on Oracle with 2.2 beta2, and noticed that even
though my declared SRS is EPSG:4326 and the Native Bounding Box was already
calculated by GeoServer, that pressing the link "Compute from native bounds"
for the LatLonBoundingBox takes a while, so I assume this is asking Oracle as
well, which seems unnecessary.
This was not the case in 2.1, in the case described above it was instant.
Is this a known issue?
