Hello. I'm having a bit of trouble with LDAP authentication and wondering
if there's a known issue.

I'm running 2.2-beta2 on a Ubuntu 11.10 system. GeoServer seems to be
functioning quite well.

However, if I attempt to use LDAP authentication, things don't go so well.
Following the instructions here:
http://docs.geoserver.org/latest/en/user/security/tutorials/ldap/index.html,
all initially goes well. Test Connection indicates "Connection Successful."
However, I move on to the next section ("Test a LDAP login") but when
attempting to log in as "bob", GeoServer only hangs indefinitely.

I've tried the same with my own LDAP server instead of acme-ldap and the
same thing happens.

Has anyone else seen something similar?

With thanks,
Emilio
