Dear Geoserver users,

maybe you can shed some light on the issues I have using geoserver 2.1.3.
The problem is that I cannot get back from geoserver a correctly
georeferenced tiff file using wcs 1.1.0. I am aware of the axis flip issues
introduced with wcs 1.1.x and geographic coordinates (at least I've read
what I could find on it on this list and on the geoserver docs). My
understanding so far is (based on
http://docs.geoserver.org/stable/en/user/services/wfs/basics.html#axis-ordering),
that when using the EPSG:4326 notation in the getCoverage boundingbox
parameter, I'll specifiy my desired extent as
boundingbox=minlong,minlat,maxlong,maxlat,EPSG:4326 and my
gridCRS=EPSG:4326 (though I think this would not be required).

The resulting georeferenced tiff has flipped axis grid contents and
mirrored georectification information. Our server is currently not
accessible from the outside, so I have to give the examples as URL...
(sorry for that):

This is a part of the getCoverage request (the request area is in north
eastern Spain):
/geoserver/ows?gridoffsets=0.0083333321111,0.0083333321111&service=WCS&format=image/tiff;subtype="geotiff"&request=GetCoverage&version=1.1.0&gridCRS=EPSG:4326&boundingbox=-5,40,0,45,EPSG:4326&identifier=glc2000_v1_gdal_1&store=False

The content of the generated geotiff is taken from 40,-5,45,0 (east of
Africa), the origin (upper left, as reported via gdalinfo) is at -5,40 and
the lower right at 0,35. Also the content is mirrored vertically and
horizontally. Hmm, I'm quite sure, that I've messed up the parameter
values, but I get the same effect using the WCS request builder in my
geoserver instance.

Any thoughts on this? Maybe someone could provide me working wcs 1.1.0 URL
parameters known to work for his/her dataset, that I could apply on mine.
BTW, the original dataset is in ESPG:4326.

Thanks, Michael
