Any ideas out there on this problem I am seeing with GeoServer 2.1.3 and 2.1.4?

Subject: [Geoserver-users] FW: Unable to add a new layer in GeoServer 2.1.3+

I am configuring the layer correctly. GeoServer is also pulling in the correct
feature type details using the data store configuration. However, when I click
on save, layer does not show up in list of layers. I also get these messages
appended to the logs:

What am I missing? Please note that this issue does not occur with GeoServer
2.1.2.

TIA.
