I tried your solution, but unfortunately didn't work. I just commented the
GZIP filter in web.xml and restarted WAS, but same issue.
It's a pity, as it's much better than "hacking" Firefox configuration.
Hopefully, the UI is only required to be accessible from a limited number
of computers, so the Firefox solution is acceptable.
