As far as I remember there is no dimension support, but I may be wrong, I
last touched WCS 1.1 almost one year ago.

Implementing a OGC standard often requires a month worth of work
(sometimes a lot more, depending on the amount of optional behavior one has
to implement).
That's something which definitely gets implemented only when there is
funding to do so,
it's no weekend project.
