I have a test server (Ubuntu) with GeoServer 2.1 and PostGIS v1.5
I also have a large aerial photo in ECW format.
I've converted this ECW file to GeoTIFF and used gdal_retile to create
tiles.
I use the pyramid plug-in to show the data.

Today I have created a second server with GeoServer 2.2 and PostGIS v2.
I've been reading about the new raster tables and I wonder if I should
continue with using the pyramid plug-in or that I should put the tiles (or
even the single GeoTiff) in PostGIS.

Does anybody have any experience, suggestions, opinions or remarks about
this?

Thanks,

Paul
