As seems, there were some attemps to write a GPX DataSTore in the past.
At least in the Subversion repository there is
"gpx", which was shipped with GeoTools 2.5 (
https://svn.osgeo.org/geotools/branches/2.5.x/modules/unsupported/gpx/)
"gpx2", whioch was shipped with GeoTools 2.7 (
https://svn.osgeo.org/geotools/branches/2.7.x/modules/unsupported/gpx2/)
Is there a reason, why they were dropped?
I would need to read and write GPX files with Geotools. Which one has
less problems? Did anyone any real work with "gpx" or "gpx2"?
Any advice is really welcome,
Thanks,
Peter
