Hello List,
I spent a few hours yesterday attempting to get this working with no
success. I do believe this is due to my inability to get the MrSID plugin
working with GDAL. I have followed this tutorial
http://trac.osgeo.org/ubuntugis/wiki/TutorialMrSid but when building the
plugin using:
sudo gdal-mrsid-build $HOME/Geo_DSDK-7.0.0.2167
It errors out with the following:
"checking for XTIFFClientOpen in -lgeotiff... no
configure: error: libgeotiff is required to build GDAL MrSID driver"
Anyway perhaps this is a question for GDAL but am I correct in guessing
that the datastore is not appearing (other gdal data stores are) because
the gdal MrSID plugin is not installing correctly.
I am curious if anyone has successfully implemented a MrSid data store to
Geoserver 2.2 on Ubuntu 12.04 64 bit? If so is there any tutorial you
followed or any tips you could send my way?
