We serve shapefile data to the public using Geoserver through .zip files generated on Geoserver. When we upload the data to the data directory, the .shp.xml[metadata] comes with all the other files included in the shapefile. When we download the layer from Geoserver, the .xml file isn't included. Is there any way to include this in the Shape-Zip file? We'd like the metadata to go with the files so it appears in the client's GIS software.
