the version the geoserver versioni s 2.2.
I already setting the Resource error handling to
SKIP_MISCONFIGURED_LAYERS, but it seem to be not have the expected result.
In this configuration I receive the error.

which version are you using?
Try running getCapabilities after setting SKIP_MISCONFIGURED_LAYERS in
global settings of geoserver
(http://docs.geoserver.org/latest/en/user/webadmin/server/globalsettings.htm
l#resource-error-handling)
If it works in that case you have to check disappearing style or layer
configuration.

Dear all,
i tried to use geoserver getCapabilities functionality.
I make the following request
<http://geosuite.team.nextant.it/geoserver/ows?service=wms&version=1.1.1&req
uest=GetCapabilities> http:/<my
server>/geoserver/ows?service=wms&version=1.1.1&request=GetCapabilities. The
processing starts but the resulting XML terminate with the following error
