Hi, Since Geoserver does not support the GetLegend for SLD with transformation functions, I want to take care about this.
My suggestion is to create the legend as following image: For each specified color-value pair, e.g. I will produce an image with the symbol in the corresponding color followed by the numeric value. Finally these images are merged in a single image that represents the legend. Interpolated values (like in the raster colormap) will not be displayed.
