GeoServer 2.3.1 just got release with a nice pack of bug fixes and minor
new features, have a look at the official blog for details:

Unfortunately so far we did not manage to create a OSX installer, hopefully
it will be back next month along with 2.3.2 (or maybe some good soul with a
OSX machine will build the installer, if so we'll update the download page
accordingly)
