I'm a new user of GeoServer. I need to create a custom filter function, but the information I have found seems to all be for GeoTools. Being a newbie, it's not clear to me if this applies to GeoServer as well. If anyone can point me to some clear instructions or tutorial no creating a custom filter function for GeoServer it would be greatly appreciated.
