Hi Emmanuel,
I have the impression that you need the ECW SDK library named "libecwj2"
that you should find in the ERDAS packages or here:
http://geospatial.intergraph.com/products/other/ecw/ERDASECWJPEG2000SDK/Details.aspx
Once you have got it you should compile the gdal libraries with ECW
support.Here a little how-to:
