Unfortunately this plugin is unmaintained and has actuality been replaced
by the "jdbcconfig" module.
https://github.com/geoserver/geoserver/tree/master/src/community/jdbcconfig
You can build it with the standard maven mechanism you would build
geoserver with. Or you can download a nightly build of it.
